Trump: Florida TV ad campaign on the way

Republican presidential candidate admits polls are tight

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Donald Trump is convinced he will do “really well” in Florida on Election Day and he expects to launch a full court press with television campaign ads to make his case.

To date, the Clinton campaign has spent an estimated $52 million versus zero for Trump, but the colorful billionaire said that would change quickly.

“We’ll be spending in Florida so we’ll be starting ads in the next week or two” Trump told News 6 on Thursday.

In an exclusive interview with News 6, Trump made it clear there would be no apologies for the “crooked Hillary” label.

“You know they see how crooked she is I mean she’s crooked that’s why we call her crooked Hillary," he said.

The controversy surrounding emails to Clinton Foundation staffers is the latest item of controversy Trump contends exposes the truth. The emails appear to expose an alleged unethical relationship between the State Department and the Clinton Foundation.

The colorful GOP presidential candidate was in Central Florida on Thursday, leading a packed rally in Kissimmee’s Silver Spurs arena.

Over the last few days Trump had continued to stand by his contention that President Barack Obama and
former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are essentially co-founders of ISIS.

On Friday, he sent out a tweet saying he was being sarcastic.

Trump wasn’t being sarcastic as he accused Clinton of  “putting out all these false ads” against him.
Trump said he will be bringing jobs to central Florida something he argues the former Secretary of State won’t deliver.

“She’s totally controlled by her donors and her special interests and her lobbyists and she’ll do whatever they want and what they want is not necessarily good for Florida and our country, and I think we are going to do fantastically well in Florida," Trump said.

Trump said he will be in Florida often and that his track record of providing jobs in the state will help him with the voters.

Chad Tucker, Florida communications director for the Trump campaign, said the GOP presidential hopeful  will be back in Florida in two weeks.
