BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – A pep rally at Baker County High School was unforgettable for a student-athlete who is paralyzed from an injury on the football field. On Friday, Milton "Oshay" Johnson returned to his school for the first time since he was hurt during practice.
Oshay has been recovering since the accident last summer. The teen began his recovery mission at Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center before he was moved to a rehabilitation center in Atlanta.

He was able to return home on Christmas Eve, and Friday marked his return to school.
Oshay's homecoming pep rally included cheers, drums and dozens of students to welcome back the teen.
J.T. Townsend, who suffered similar injuries while playing football for Episcopal High School four years ago, was a special guest at the event to offer Oshay support and friendship.
"It means a lot. It keeps you pumped to know that you can continue on with friends and help," Townsend said.
"I feel pretty good," said Oshay.
Besides for the new friendships made on Friday, Oshay received a laptop computer from his school, a $6,000 check and football players from Episcopal and Bishop Kenny high schools gave Oshay another check for $1,300.
Also, Builders Care announced it will uild Oshay and his family a new house.
"This home is going to be a whole lot more convenient than what we have now, you know with the ramp and all, and everything will be kind of ground-level and easier to get in and out of," said Oshay's father, Milton Johnson.
Builders Care said it expects to be able to build the new home in about two weeks
