Deputies in Bradford County have arrested a man they said broke into a Kangaroo store early Thursday morning.
Investigators were called to Brooker Kangaroo in the 11700 block of Southwest State Road 231 about 2:50 a.m. in reference to an alarm.
When deputies arrived, they found the front glass to the store had been broken and someone had entered the store, leaving blood at the scene.
Deputies said that while canvassing the area, a detective developed information on the location of the burglary suspect from earlier in the day.
Jeremy Payne, of Alachua County, was arrested and charged with burglary and theft of four bottles of beer.
