BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. – A driver is dead after hitting a tree in Bradford County.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say 25-year-old Travis Testone was driving southbound on County Road 225A in Bradford County just before 2 a.m. Saturday in a 2001 Chevy Trailblazer.

Troopers say the vehicle traveled off the roadway and on to the east shoulder. They also say that Testone overcorrected, traveled across the northbound and southbound lanes and onto the west shoulder, before hitting a tree.
Testone died at the scene.
Troopers say Testone was not wearing a seat belt. Alcohol-test results are pending.
