JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 57-year-old truck driver suffered minor injuries Wednesday afternoon in a crash on the Interstate 10 exit ramp onto Interstate 295, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
James S. Beard of Scotia, S.C., was driving a tractor trailer eastbound on the exit ramp from I-10 to I-295 northbound and entered the uphill curve too fast, causing the vehicle to overturn on its right side.

The tractor trailer landed across the roadway, blocking the exit ramp.
Beard, who was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, was cited for driving too fast for the conditions.
