The Clay County Sheriff's Office said a victim reported a burglary to his vehicle Thursday night on Waterford Oaks Drive in Oakleaf. He said the suspects were in a Volvo SUV, which matched the description of the vehicle used in burglaries from the previous weekend in the Oakleaf/Argyle area.

Deputies responded and found the vehicle in the area of Plantation Oaks Boulevard and Oakleaf Village Parkway.

The suspects tried to get away and crashed into a parked car on Millstone Lane, CCSO said.

All five suspects ran off but were later found and arrested, deputies said.

The Volvo SUV was stolen from Jacksonville, according to investigators.

The five suspects were arrested Friday morning and will be charged in the Thursday night incident as well as a series of burglaries and a grand theft auto from Sunday.
