The burglaries shared similar characteristics in that both business front door locking mechanisms were broken to gain entry. Several cartons of cigarettes were stolen from each location, deputies said.

Based on footage obtained from both locations, two burglars can be seen, but have not been identified at this time.

Both burglars were wearing masks to cover their faces and had gloves on their hands. They were seen with a square trash can, which was used to carry the cartons of cigarettes out of the store, deputies said.

Deputies said a white Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck can be seen in surveillance video from each location.

The body style of the truck is determined to be a 1982 – 1990 Chevrolet S-10 single cab pickup. The truck has factory wheels and thin chrome trim installed on the wheel well, deputies said.

Anyone with information pertaining to the cases is asked to call Columbia County detectives Chris Parker or Marcella Mayo at 386-719-7530, or CCSO dispatch at 386-719-2005.
