2 men shot in drive-by in Northwest Jacksonville

Victims taken to UF Health Jacksonville with non-life-threatening injuries

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Police investigating a drive-by double shooting Sunday afternoon in Northwest Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office told Channel 4 that two men in their 20s were shot inside a parked car close to a park on Wilton Road. Four people were in the maroon Nissan, but only two were hit by the gunfire.

The two who were shot were taken to UF Health at Jacksonville with non-life-threatening injuries. One victim was shot in the hand, the other shot in the shoulder.

Police did not have a suspect description and were interviewing witnesses.

Police are unsure if the car or a house was a  specific target or if it was random.
