ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – A 20-year-old Gainesville woman died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
State troopers said Alisha Grubel was driving westbound on Archer Road, just west of Southwest 111 Terrace about 9:30 a.m. when she drove off the roadway for reasons unknown.

Her car went onto the north shoulder, then in a northwest direction before striking a tree with the front end.
Grubel was taken to a hospital, where she died.
Troopers said their investigation is ongoing.
