JSO: 2 injured in drive-by shooting in NW Jax

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man and a woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a drive-by shooting Wednesday night in Northwest Jacksonville, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The victims, 20-year-old Leonard Andrews and 19-year-old Tieshea Padmore, were sitting in a car near the intersection of West Eighth Street and Myrtle Avenue with two other people when they were shot. They were driven to the hospital.

Andrews was shot in the chest and Padmore had a graze wound to her right ear, police said.

Details on the shooter, the weapon and the vehicle were not known, police said.

Police said said they were looking for the gunman, but had no suspect information.
