JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating an aggravated battery early Tuesday morning at Eureka Gardens on the Westside.
According to JSO, officers responded to apartment 179 where they found one person shot in the leg The victim was inside the apartment along with three other individuals. They were not injured.

Police do not have any suspect information at this time.
Just last week the troubled apartment complex faced a second major gas leak in a month. Over the summer the complex was the subject of a city code enforcement sweep after tenants had been dealing with mold, crumbling stairways and gas leaks at the complex for months.
