JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are investigating a serious crash involving a pedestrian in Northwest Jacksonville.
It happened Saturday night near the intersection of Rowe Avenue and Lem Turner Road in Northwest Jacksonville.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said a man crossing Rowe Avenue not in the middle of the block walked into the path of an northbound pickup truck. His injuries were described as life-threatening.
"We do not have an identity confirmed on the pedestrian," JSO Sgt. J.C. Wilson said late Saturday night. "The best we can determine is that he is an adult male in his 20s."
The driver of the pickup was cooperating with police.
