2 men sought after stealing firearms from store

LAKE CITY, Fla. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to the identification, arrest and prosecution of any and all people involved in the June 5 burglary of McDuffie Marine and Sporting Goods.

Just before midnight, two men broke into the store at 1866 W. U.S. 90 in Lake City and stole eight handguns, then fled on foot.

Two of the firearms were recovered outside the fence after the men dropped them.

One burglar is described as a black man wearing no shirt (pictured), tan pants, black boxers and Adidas shoes.

The second burglar is described as a white man wearing a black or blue hoodie, plaid or camouflage shorts, flip flop slides and a black backpack.

The stolen handguns were the following: Smith and Wesson M&P .40 caliber; Smith and Wesson Model 509 9mm caliber; Glock 27 .40 caliber; Smith and Wesson M&P .40 caliber; Glock 30 .45; and Taurus PT740 .40 caliber.

Anyone with any information on the identities of the burglars or the location of the stolen firearms is asked to call the Lake City Police Department immediately.
