2nd suspect arrested in October killing

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police in Jacksonville have arrested a second suspect in connection with the shooting death of another man last October.

Corey "Reno" Spann, 36, was wanted on a murder charge in the killing of George Ware.

Ware was shot and killed in the 1500 block of West 35th Street on Oct. 12.

Dewayne "Pokey" Jones was charged with murder on Nov. 20 in Ware's death.

Police said Spann was with Jones during the shooting.

On Tuesday, police requested public assistance in finding Spann. He was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service at about 5 p.m. Thursday.
