Body found at old paint factory

BRUNSWICK, Ga. – Police in Brunswick are investigating after a body was found at an old paint factory Friday morning.

Officers were called to the 2700 block of Glynn Avenue about 10:15 a.m.

Police said the identity and manner of death of the person is unknown at this time. They said the remains were transported to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab in Savannah for an autopsy to be performed Monday.

Police said further information will be made available pending the notification of the next of kin and as the case develops.
