SATSUMA, Fla. – A fight led to a carjacking on Thanksgiving Day at a fruit stand in Satsuma, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
Before deputies arrived at the scene, they said a second call prompted them to pursue a vehicle after learning Bounthavong Chanthavong battered Pjeter Kqira and stole his car.

Deputies said Chanthavong was armed with a chisel and told Kqira he had a gun as he pushed him out of the way and got into his car.
Kqira's wife, Victoria Kqira, was still in the car, and Pjeter, in an effort to protect his wife, held on to the vehicle and was dragged about 400 feet, deputies said.
Pjeter told deputies he was afraid the man was going to harm his wife, so he refused to let go.
The chase lasted about two miles before deputies were able to deploy stop sticks, which deflated the tires, ending the pursuit.
Deputies said Chanthavong got out of the car and tried to flee, refusing to comply with a deputy's orders to get on the ground.
Chanthavong was stunned twice with a Taser before he was taken into custody, deputies said.
Deputies said they returned to the scene and learned there were two more victims that Chanthavong tried to carjack.
Chanthavong was charged with aggravated battery, false imprisonment, criminal mischief, armed burglary, motor vehicle theft, carjacking, armed carjacking, resisting an officer without violence, and giving false identification to law enforcement.
He was being held in the Putnam County jail on $127,048 bond.
