FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – An Ormond Beach woman was arrested early Monday for fleeing and eluding a police officer, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
The arrest comes exactly one week after the same woman was arrested by Flagler County deputies on the same charge.

In the latest arrest, Deborah Brinkman, 59, is charged with fleeing and eluding a police officer, aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, leaving the scene of a crash with injuries, driving under the influence resulting in injury, felony criminal mischief and driving under the influence.
Deputies were called to a Walmart parking lot about 3:30 a.m. Monday in response to a report of a woman driving around the lot. The man who was picking up trash in the lot said the woman, later identified as Brinkman, was driving around and throwing out paper towels that she had defecated on, according to deputies.
Deputies found Brinkman's vehicle parked in between two other vehicles, and they turned on their emergency lights to make a traffic stop.
Deputy Alfonso Dillard approached the woman's vehicle and stood by the passenger side window while asking her to turn the car off, and as Deputy Ryan Emery approached the driver's side, the woman began driving away and tried to run over Dillard, according to the Sheriff's Office. Deputies said at one point, Dillard was struck by his patrol car door as Brinkman ran her vehicle into his.
Brinkman then drove through the Walmart parking lot before turning on to Cypress Point Parkway and then onto Cypress Edge Parkway, deputies said. They said they were able to box her vehicle in using their patrol cars on the parking lot of a Golden Corral restaurant.
Brinkman was taken into custody after damaging three patrol cars and a tractor-trailer that had been parked in the restaurant parking lot, deputies said.
Deputies said she had slurred speech and was unable to stand on her own. Several cans of alcoholic beverages were found inside her car, and deputies said she emitted a strong odor of alcohol.
Brinkman was previously arrested Nov. 26 on Palm Coast Parkway around 7:30 a.m. after she fled from a traffic stop on Faith Lane, deputies said. They said in that incident, she refused to stop for deputies and at one point, as she sat at a red light on Florida Park Drive, smiled at deputies, waved and proceeded to drive off onto Palm Coast Parkway westbound.
She was charged with fleeing and eluding a police officer and willful and wanton reckless driving. Bond in that incident was set at $2,750. She was released from the Flagler County Inmate Facility on Nov. 29 after posting bond.
In the latest incident, she is being held on $23,000 bond at the inmate facility.
