JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Firefighters with Jacksonville Fire-Rescue responded to a Westside home early Tuesday morning.
The home was located on Thomas Street in the Lackawanna area. That's near McDuff Avenue and Beaver Street.

The fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. The home appeared to be vacant but mattresses were found on the floor, according to Tom Francis, spokesman for Jacksonville Fire-Rescue.
Electricity was not turned on at the home and firefighters were investigating the cause.
