Gunman robs downtown Jacksonville Burger King

Restaurant's security cameras record predawn robbery

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are looking for the man who held up the Burger King on State Street at 5 a.m. last Thursday.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the man entered the restaurant, showed a gun and demanded money. Surveillance cameras recorded the gunman jumping over the counter.

Police describe the robber as a black man in his 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and wearing a fake beard that appeared to be made out of cotton balls.
