Jacksonville woman claims $500K scratch-off prize

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - A 44-year-old Jacksonville woman has claimed a $500,000 prize in the Gold Rush Tripler scratch-off game, the Florida Lottery announced Wednesday.

Kayntha Horne purchased her winning ticket at Arlington Food Mart, located at 3641 Rogero Road.

The $20 scratch-off game is the latest installment of the player favorite Gold Rush scratch-off games. The game offers better odds of winning $30 to $500, compared to previous Gold Rush games, and the best odds ever to win $500,000. There are three $3 million top prizes and four $500,000 prizes remaining. The overall odds of winning are 1 in 2.95.

The Florida Lottery offers more than 60 scratch-off games at any given time through vending machines and counter displays at more than 13,000 retailers statewide.
