Engine 15 approved to sell beer at new downtown brewery

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville City Council approved a plan Tuesday night to allow Engine 15 Brewing Co. to sell beer and wine at its downtown warehouse.

The new brewery will be located on Myrtle Avenue, near Beaver Street, in the LaVilla neighborhood of Jacksonville’s urban core.

Until Tuesday night, the warehouse was only zoned for manufacturing beer and cider, not selling it.

News4Jax was told the new location will include a tap room and outdoor seating area. Engine 15 also has a brewpub on Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville Beach.
