JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The driver of a silver SUV shot someone several times on Retaw St. in the Lakeshore area early Saturday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The victim was standing on the street talking with several friends around 3:45 a.m. The SUV drove down the street and the victim became involved in some type of verbal altercation with the driver, according to police.
The driver shot the victim several times and fled the scene, JSO said.
There is no suspect information at this time and witnesses are being interviewed.
