JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A 24-year-old Jacksonville man was recently convicted on charges of sexual battery, robbery and kidnapping.

In March 2012, Dan Fudge and a co-defendant met with the female victim at a gas station on Atlantic Boulevard to sell her drugs. The victim was then instructed to meet them at an apartment complex down the road to complete the exchange.

When she arrived, the co-defendant entered the passenger side of her car while Fudge stood outside of the car. The two then took her money and other belongings and forced her to have sex.

The victim was eventually able to get away and contact authorities.

Fudge now faces life in prison. He will be sentenced the week of Oct. 21.
