ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies with the Alachua County Sheriff's Office are investigating the shooting death of a 44-year-old man Monday.
Deputies were called to the 2000 block of Northeast 192nd Avenue.

They said the found William Redd, who had been shot in the upper torso. Redd was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Detectives were investigating the crime scene.
