JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 36-year-old Jacksonville man was sentenced Thursday afternoon to 15 years in prison for sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl.
The sentence for Trent Stevens runs consecutively to a 10-year prison sentence he received last year for another sex crime involving a teenage girl.

Stevens was convicted last month on a charge of lewd or lascivious battery. Evidence showed that Stevens sexually abused a 15-year-old girl repeatedly over a four-month period in 2011.
Stevens is also charged in a pending sex case involving another 15-year-old victim.
