Police investigate Northside credit union robbery

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Detectives are investigating Tuesday morning's robbery of the Jax Federal Credit Union on Dunn Avenue.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says a masked man entered about 9:30 a.m. and pulled a gun.

"He produced a firearm and demanded money," Lt. Derrik Lewis said. "At that point, the teller produced an undetermined amount of money and fled on foot."

The robbery was caught on surveillance camera and police released an image later Tuesday of the man they are looking for. He is described as a black man, 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, between 180-210 pounds, between 30-40 years old. He was armed with a black pistol, police said.
