CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. – It's been more than two decades since we've seen snow fall in Jacksonville back in 1989. Now, we're looking at the possibility of snow in Southeast Georgia.
People in that area could be dealing with freezing rain as this arctic chill pushes through.

Monday, officials in Camden County got together some preliminary plans and they're making final preparations Tuesday. People who live in the area began bracing for it Monday, too.
"If it comes, I'll be ready for it," said Debra Dougherty.
Dougherty chose to hit the grocery store early, making sure she and her two children were prepared for the possibility of freezing rain and ice.
"It's always good to stock up, having wood for the fireplace," said Dougherty.
All across Southeast Georgia, people were starting to get ready for the big freeze.
County officials and the Department of Transportation say they'll be finalizing their contingency plans Tuesday as well.
"We are covering 24 counties in Southeastern Georgia. We are really gearing up for ice and snow so we have our trucks equipped with snow plows. We've got salt and snow spreaders and we are prepared to be on the road if need be, all night tomorrow night," said Jill Nagel with the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The GDOT said 300 employees will be on call covering nearly 7,000 miles of road. They'll be equipped with 200 tons of salt and more than 4,000 tons of gravel, 12 snow plows and 40 other pieces of equipment.
The Camden County Sheriff's Office is also keeping a close eye on this storm.
A spokesman for the department says they'll be in contact with the school board today to determine if school needs to be delayed or cancelled.
