JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 29-year-old man was shot in the chest in the driveway of a Northwest Jacksonville home Wednesday afternoon, according to Jacksonville police.
Officers were called to the 4600 block of Colchester Road about 1:30 p.m. and found the man conscious and alert.

Police said the man was robbed of his car keys, according to friends, but his vehicle was not stolen.
The man was visiting a friend's house near where his grandmother lives.
Police said a very small gun may have been used to shoot him.
The man was taken to a hospital. Police are searching for the shooter.
