PALATKA, Fla. – Putnam County detectives arrested a 25-year-old man Thursday in connection with the killing of a 28-year-old man last month.
Eric Woodrum is charged with murder in the death of Antonio Mulberry, who was shot to death about 12:30 a.m. March 30 on Augusta Road in Palatka.

Investigators believe the killing was the result of a drug deal turned robbery attempt.
After being interviewed Thursday, Woodrum was arrested and transported to the Putnam County Jail on charges of accessory after the fact, first-degree murder and destroying evidence. He is being held without bond.
"We will continue to relentlessly pursue the investigation of this case in an effort to ensure all of the criminals involved are brought to justice in a timely manner," Sheriff Jeff Hardy said.
