ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – A 32-year-old man has pleaded no contest as charged to all counts related to an incident a year ago in downtown St. Augustine.
According to prosecutors, Casey Haworth and co-defendant Dameon James approached a woman in a car on Aug. 25, 2012.

While James stayed in the car asking for directions, prosecutors said Haworth sneaked up behind her and zapped her with a stun gun. She screamed, dropped her purse and ran off.
According to court papers, the pair made off with $40.
James was previously convicted and sentenced to 15 years in prison, plus 10 years of probation.
Haworth was charged with robbery with a weapon, attempted kidnap to inflict bodily harm/terrorize victim with a weapon, aggravated battery (deadly weapon) and possession of an electronic weapon by convicted felon.
Haworth is scheduled to be sentenced before a circuit judge at 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 7, 2014.
