JACKSONVILLE, Fla – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says officers found a man with a gunshot wound about 9:40 p.m. Thursday on Harbor View Drive, which runs along the Ribault River.
When officers arrived, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound in the lower portion of his body.

The victim was taken to UF Health Jacksonville and is expected to be make a full recovery.
"The victim was less than forthcoming, unfortunately, regarding suspect information or even where the incident occurred. As a result, despite a thorough canvas of the neighborhood and a search as well, no scene was found," Sgt. Matthew Clements said.
The Violent Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.
