Motorcyclist critical after I-95 crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 23-year-old motorcyclist suffered critical injuries early Monday when she hit a disabled car on Interstate 95, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The FHP report said Susana Ferrona was traveling north on I-95 on her Honda CBR600RR about 3 a.m. Monday and failed to see a disabled Chevrolet Malibu in the left travel lane. Ferrona tried to avoid hitting the car, but was unable to swerve around it and hit the back of the car, FHP said.
