Nikki Kimbleton is an anchor and consumer/lifestyle reporter for Channel 4's The Morning Show.
Even though she wakes up for work in the middle of the night, Nikki is thrilled to be working at WJXT, the station that she says inspired her to get into broadcast journalism. Nikki has hometown ties to Jacksonville. Her parents, aunts, uncles and a bunch of cousins live all over the area.
Before coming home to Channel 4, Nikki was the morning anchor for WNCT in Greenville, N.C. She also spent six years as a reporter and anchor with Birmingham's Fox-owned and operated station, WBRC.
Throughout her career, Nikki's covered everything from major hurricanes, a deadly F-5 tornado, college football coaching scandals, the 16th Street Church bombing trial, Eric Robert Rudolph's capture and prosecution and much more. Nikki was also very active in making animal cruelty a felony in the state of Alabama.
Nikki is a proud graduate of Troy State University. She loves to volunteer and serves on the board of several local charities including Blessings In A Backpack. She is also active with the Jacksonville Humane Society, Susan G. Komen Foundation, American Cancer Society, ElderSource and CHILD Cancer Fund, among others.
In her spare time, Nikki loves traveling with her husband, surfing Facebook and paying lots of attention to her two dogs: Wookie, a four-pound Pomeranian and Booger, an overweight Border Collie who's terrified of thunder.
