JACKSONVILLE, Fla – One person is in the hospital after being shot early this morning on the Westside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The shooting happened at the intersection of Blanding Boulevard and 103rd Street shortly after 2:00 this morning.

JSO says two people were in a car when one of them was shot. That person was taken to UF Health with non-life threatening injuries.
Shortly after the shooting, a car crashed on a nearby street. Two suspects were taken into custody.
