JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are investigating the midday Tuesday robbery of the Atlantic Coast Bank on University Boulevard North.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was working inside and outside the bank just north of the Arlington Expressway.

A detective said a lone bandit asked for money and left on a bicycle. He was described as a white man weighing 185 pounds and 5 feet 9 inches tall with reddish-blonde hair in a buzz cut. He was wearing a grey cap, dark grey hoodie, knee-length cargo shorts and black tennis shoes.
Police wouldn't say if he showed a weapon, but there were no injuries.
