Police investigate death reported on Northside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The body of a young man was found Friday morning near railroad tracks on the Northside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

A CSX engineer called police after seeing what he thought was a body along the tracks near the intersection of 50th Street and Main streets. Arriving officers confirmed that it was a black man, probably in his 20s, but they have not established his identity.
