JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A cab driver was shot in the leg Tuesday night in the city's Lackawanna neighborhood, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Just before 9:15 p.m., police said, the cab driver went to Cherokee Street to pick up a fare.

When she arrived, police said two men walked up to the cab and began to rob her.
One of the two men shot her in the leg and then they both took off, according to police.
The cab driver went to McDuff Avenue, where officers found her.
She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
