Police search for unlocked car burglary suspect

After multiple attempts by police to warn people about the dangers of leaving their cars unlocked, police are on the lookout for a man they said broke into an unlocked car on Twin Falls Drive on Aug. 3.

Police said a man broke into an unlocked car and stole a wallet that had multiple credit cards in it before jumping into an SUV and taking off.

Once the suspect had the credit cards, police said he used them at multiple locations throughout Jacksonville.

Police have released a photo of the suspect and are asking anyone with information about his identity to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500 or contact Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS, where people with information that leads to an arrest can be eligible for a $3,000 reward.
