JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville police were searching for a man who robbed a food store at gunpoint Saturday evening.
The robbery occurred shortly after 7 p.m. at JAX Convenience Food Store on Lake Shore Boulevard.

Police said the robber entered the store and asked the clerk for a watermelon flavored Arizona beverage. The clerk assisted him, handed him the drink and returned behind the counter.
The robber then displayed a small handgun and demanded money from the register, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
