Supporters arrived early and showed their excitement, saying it's time for change in America.

"I'm just so psyched and energized. Everyone is excited to be here," said Reta Campbell, a Romney supporter.

Campbell moved everything else aside on her schedule Thursday to hear Ann Romney speak. Supporters waved signs saying, "Moms for Mitt" and "Women for Romney."

"I think she brings what (former First Lady) Laura Bush brought," Campbell said. "She's elegant and very classy, and very concerned about people, especially children. And I think Ann Romney comes across the same."

Romney told supporters a key stage in the race came in her husband's first debate. She said it revealed who he really is.

"He's the guy who has an understanding of the country and an understanding of our bank accounts and how things work," Romney said. "He's not going to make things worse."

Romney said women have been hurt the most in America's struggling economy, and she said her husband always makes decisions based upon what's best for the country.

"I've seen Mitt all through his life -- we've been married for more than 40 years -- and one thing I can tell you is that Mitt does not fail, and he will not fail America."

Voters left extremely impressed.

"I think they are a real American family," said James Arpai, a Romney supporter. "Yes, they are multimillionaires, but he did it on his own, and she was with him all the way."
