Because of those repairs, the bridge has been lowered. It will not go up again until 6 p.m. Nov. 21.

The city is offering space at Metropolitan Park's marina and the Jacksonville Landing docks for boaters who are stopped by the work.

This is the last of the repairs to make it easier to lower and raise the aged bridge.
