ELKTON, Fla. – A 37-year old Elkton man, who was free on bond from a sexual battery charge in June and was charged with another sexual battery count in July, fled the county and was picked up Thursday in Ohio, the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said.

Michael Owen Hutchison was booked into the County Jail on June 9 and released later that day after posting $25,000 bond.

While out on bond, a second male adult victim reported to special victims unit detectives that Hutchison allegedly committed sexual battery on him at the end of July while the victim was passed out.

A new arrest warrant was obtained a week later, but Hutchison had fled the county.

That second warrant had a $250,000 bond attached to it. A short time later another warrant, which carries no bond, was issued for violation of bond conditions in reference to the first sexual battery charge.

The U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force was brought in to locate Hutchison. With assistance from the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force along with the Marion County, Ohio, Metrich Narcotics Team, Hutchison was found Thursday and taken into custody without incident.
