The brothers were convicted of these charges last week.

Back in November 2013, a vehicle leased to the victim, Dwight Martin, 26, was found abandoned after he was reported missing. Blood and a presence of bleach were found inside the abandoned car.

An investigation revealed the Nibbelink brothers and Gary Shepersky, 20, contacted Martin and made arrangements to purchase drugs.

The men planned to rob Martin of drugs and money.

When Martin (pictured right) arrived at a home on Arco Drive in Arlington, the men approached him from behind, choked and tackled him, according to prosecutors. Martin was tied up with bungee cords, beaten and kicked repeatedly.

Martin then had a rag soaked with cleaning fluid stuffed down his throat.

After Martin died, the men put him in the trunk of his rental car, drove to Putnam County and dumped his body in a wooded area.

The men drove back to Jacksonville and abandoned the car.

Martin's remains were discovered a few weeks later.

Shepersky pleaded guilty to charges of second degree murder, kidnapping and robbery. He is currently awaiting sentencing.
