JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Elections supervisors across the state will begin sending out vote-by-mail ballots to registered voters Tuesday.
About 2.4 million ballots will go out.

So far, more than 1 million Republicans and about 900,000 Democrats have requested ballots for the general election.
Another 450,000 have asked for absentee ballots.
Secretary of State Ken Detzner expects a very high, overall voter turnout this election.
The Division of Elections said vote-by-mail ballots must be received by 5 p.m. November 2 at county elections offices.
Early voting starts October 24th, in some parts of Florida.
