Water shutoff latest issue at Eureka Gardens

Residents receive letter informing about water shut off

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Amidst the ongoing problems at Eureka Gardens, residents were informed that water would be shut off Tuesday because of a water main leak.

Residents received a letter on Monday warning them about the shut off. The letter explained that there is only one valve to cut the water off, meaning the entire property would be without water during the repairs.

The letter apologized for the inconvenience and said management would try to solve the problem and get the water restored by the end of the day Tuesday.

The water leak is the latest addition to a long list of issues the Eureka Gardens property has been in the news for lately. Just last week some residents were without hot water and the use of their stoves or ovens because of a gas leak. This was not the first gas leak of this nature as a similar leak occurred in late October.
