Tim Tebow hits 2nd home run in 3 games

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – For the second time in a week Tim Tebow has gone yard. Sunday afternoon, the former Gators quarterback hit a 3-run home run in the fifth inning for the Columbia Fireflies. That’s the second home run in three games for Tebow. On Thursday the former Heisman Trophy winner hit a 2-run homer in his first at-bat of the season.

For the moment Tebow is playing in high-A ball with the Fireflies. If he keeps hitting like this maybe he'll move up in the Mets organization.

Fun fact: Tebow’s two home runs are only one short of Michael Jordan's total for his entire minor league career. Who knows how far Tebow will take this but at least he's on pace to do better than MJ did.
