Single-game tickets for Jumbo Shrimp go on sale Tuesday

First year for baseball team with new name begins in April

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The first season of Jumbo Shrimp baseball is several weeks away, but the team formerly known as the Jacksonville Suns will begin selling single-game tickets on at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

Tickets are available for all 70 home games. General admission and military reserved seats are the least expensive at $5, and dugout box seats, which includes in-seat wait service, are the most expensive at $18.

Group picnics will also go on sale Tuesday for groups of 24. They include food and beverages in the package.

The Southern League season opens April 6 and the Jumbo Shrimp host their first home game on April 12 against Chattanooga.

Full and partial-season ticket packages start at $6.50 per game.
