Kim Parker is the business manager for WJXT-TV/Graham Media Group Florida Inc. She has held this position since 2007 and is responsible for all aspects of the station’s finance, human resource and business operations.
Parker started her broadcast career in 1995 at Enterprise System Group Inc. out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She began as implementation specialist working with finance departments at local TV, radio and cable companies during the software conversion process. She was later promoted to the manager of the implementation & training department when the company became ENCODA when the company merged with Columbine and Donovan Data Systems. In 2003 Parker began working with Marketron and assisted the company during its migration to the television industry with installation of their software at the Telemundo stations.
Parker later transitioned to the station side of the business in 2004 and began working at Media General as the regional controller in the Jacksonville market before joining WJXT-TV. Parker received her BS from the University of Colorado.
