Clear & cool Sunday night

Cooling temperatures & clear skies

Dropping temperatures, clear skies, and potential for coastal fog

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After topping out in the upper 60s and low 70s Sunday afternoon, temperatures drop down quickly after sunset. Clear skies and calm winds contribute to an accelerated drop in temperatures overnight, making for a "sweater weather" start to what turns into a mild Monday.

Overnight temperatures cool into low 40s for inland areas and upper 40s for the coastal areas. Some patchy fog may develop after midnight, especially along coastal areas initially.  The patchy fog clears quickly after sunrise, accompanying a nice warm up of temperatures.
