Weekend weather worries

Sun then storms then wet & windy then sun!

Unusual June cold front rolls in this weekend

JACKSONVILLE, Fla – We've been stuck in a rut of afternoon storms and evening storms, some of which have been causing damage around the area.  They will be back this afternoon so be aware of lightning and thunderstorm winds to 45 mph.  These should once again kick-off around 2pm.

Yet, it is Sunday that may really catch your attention as a mini-nor'easter blows in!  Starting around 9am, winds will build as morning, not afternoon downpours push through.  Sunday's winds could exceed 35 mph in gusts along the coast.  This will make Sunday a not-so-good beach day!
